According to Oleksa Zhovtyi, a journalist from "Ukrainian Witness", they were en route to film the firing position of the 15th brigade of the National Guard when their Nissan Navara was attacked by the "Molniya" drones, which are operated in FPV mode.

As a result of the attack, two military personnel sustained minor injuries, and the vehicle was rendered inoperable.

The explosion occurred beneath the vehicle, feeling like a mine detonation. The journalist and military personnel quickly exited the pickup and took shelter in the nearest building to call for evacuation and assess the injuries. The press officer of the brigade, Igor Lavrov, sustained the most serious injuries.

A vehicle arrived promptly to evacuate the injured and the journalist to the nearest village, where it was safer to await medical evacuation.

The damaged pickup is currently being repaired at the military base.
