Air Defense Forces Neutralize Drones in Recent Assault

Latest report on the success of Ukraine's Air Defense Forces in neutralizing drones during a recent attack.

The Air Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 126 out of 145 drones employed by Russian aggressors in an attack on Sunday evening. This information was released by the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.
Starting from 18:00 on Sunday, January 18, the enemy launched an assault with 145 strike drones, including Shahed models, "Gerbera," and others from various directions including Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (RF), Chаuda (temporarily occupied Crimea), and temporarily occupied Donetsk. Approximately 90 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The airstrike was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 on Monday, January 19, the Air Defense Forces had shot down 126 drones.
Strikes were recorded on 13 strike drones at 12 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at five locations.
The attack is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace, according to the Air Force.
In Odesa, as a result of the nighttime assault, residential buildings and infrastructure have been damaged.
