On the night of January 12, Russia launched a significant assault on Ukraine, deploying 156 strike drones, including "Shahed," "Herbera," and various other types. In response, air defense forces neutralized 135 threats posed by these drones.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

Starting from 18:00 on January 11, the enemy targeted Ukraine with 156 drones from various regions, including Millerovo, Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Crimea. Approximately 110 of these drones were identified as "Shahed."
As of 08:00, aviation forces, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare divisions, and mobile fire groups successfully intercepted or suppressed 135 Russian drones across the north, south, east, and center of the country.

The Air Force noted that the attack resulted in 16 drones hitting 11 locations, with debris from shot-down drones falling in two additional areas.

"The assault is ongoing, and several enemy drones remain in the airspace. Please adhere to safety guidelines," the Air Force added.
