On the evening of December 11, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine using 80 drones. The Ukrainian Air Force reports that 64 of these drones have been neutralized, as mentioned on their Telegram channel.
The attack began at 18:00 and was conducted from directions including Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (RF), Chauda, and Hvardiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Most of the drones, about 50, were of the Shahed type.
To defend Ukraine, aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups were engaged.
As of 09:00 on December 12, air defense had successfully downed 64 drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
The assault is ongoing, with enemy drones still in the airspace.
In the Odesa region, damage has been reported to energy infrastructure and warehouses, leaving some populated areas without electricity.
