Fatal Consequences of Airstrikes in Kyiv

Two people have died and nine have been injured in Kyiv due to airstrikes. Rescue operations are ongoing.

As a result of a massive airstrike by Russian forces in Kyiv, two individuals have lost their lives and nine have been injured, as reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv.
"In Kyiv, following the nighttime attack, 2 people were killed, 6 were injured, and 18 were rescued, including 3 children," the statement noted.
Emergency service units continue to work at the impact sites and debris falls.
In the Pechersk district, a strike hit a 22-story residential building. "Destruction was observed on floors 4-8. The fire has been extinguished, and structural assessments are ongoing. One person with limited mobility was rescued," the report states.
In the Dniprovskyi district, following a strike on a 9-story building, 2 individuals died, 5 were injured, including 3 children. Fires on floors 5-8 have been extinguished. Work continues to dismantle structures and search for potential victims.
"Efforts to extinguish a fire in a garage cooperative are also ongoing," the emergency service added.
Shortly after, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, clarified that one of the deceased was an 86-year-old woman.
"There is also information about 7 injured, including a child. We are verifying the data," he stated.
Klychko later reported nine injured individuals.
"According to medical sources, there are already 9 injured in the capital. Among them is one child. Three adults have been hospitalized," Klychko noted.
This night, Russian forces conducted a combined air attack on Ukraine using cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as attack drones. Air raid alerts were declared across the country.
