The Ukrainian armed forces have successfully neutralized 125 out of 162 drones used in an attack on the country on November 23. This was reported by the Air Forces on their Telegram channel.
Starting at 7 PM on November 23, aggressors launched 162 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, from directions including Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardeyske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Over 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
As of 9 AM on Monday, November 24, air defense had shot down 125 drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Thirty-seven strike UAVs were confirmed hit at 15 locations, with debris falling at one site.
The most damage was inflicted on civilian infrastructure and private homes in Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, with casualties reported among the civilian population.
