The air defense forces successfully intercepted 206 out of 223 drones used by the aggressor to attack Ukrainian cities on the night of October 31. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.
Starting from 18:30 on Friday, October 31, Russian military launched 223 strike drones of various types, including Shahed, from directions such as Kursk, Milleryovo, Bryansk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardijyske (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 140 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The air force, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare forces, and mobile groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces actively countered the aerial assault.
As of 09:30 on Saturday, November 1, preliminary data indicated that the air defense had shot down 206 drones attempting to attack the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Seventeen strike drones were recorded at seven different locations.
In the Poltava region, a fire broke out at a gas extraction facility due to the Russian attack.
