Successful Operation: Strike on Enemy Oil and Gas Infrastructure

On the night of October 29, Ukrainian special forces targeted enemy oil and gas infrastructure, destroying several key facilities.

On the night of October 29, units of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine successfully conducted a strike on three enemy oil and gas infrastructure facilities. This was reported by the press service of the Special Operations Forces and the General Staff.

The targets of the special forces were:

  • Mariinsky Oil Refinery in Tabashino, Mari El Republic, Russia;
  • Novospassky Oil Refinery in Novospasskoye, Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia;
  • Budyonovsky Gas Processing Plant in Budyonnovsk, Stavropol Krai, Russia.

Explosions and fires were recorded at the sites. Local residents also confirmed the strikes.
The Mariinsky Refinery is a critical infrastructure facility for the Mari El Republic, producing 10 types of oil products with an annual processing capacity of 1.6 million tons.
The Novospassky Refinery produces essential types of oil products, including diesel, gasoline, and fuel oil, with an annual capacity of 600 thousand tons.
The Budyonovsky Gas Processing Plant has a design capacity of 2.2 billion cubic meters of gas per year, supplying gas to the Budyonnovsk CHPP and companies of PJSC "Lukoil" in the region, serving as a key source of feedstock for the petrochemical industry.
The Special Operations Forces emphasize that they continue to carry out asymmetric actions to halt the enemy and accelerate its strategic exhaustion.
