The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 26 drones that the Russian army attempted to use for attacks on Ukrainian territories. This was reported by the Air Force of Ukraine via Telegram.
On the night of October 28, starting from 8:00 PM on October 27, the enemy launched an assault using 38 strike UAVs, including Shahed and Gerbera types, coming from the directions of Kursk and Orel, with about 25 of them being 'Shaheds'.
Air defense was provided by military aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, 26 enemy UAVs were shot down or suppressed in the northern and eastern regions of the country.
There were confirmed impacts from 12 strike UAVs at 4 different locations, as well as debris found at one location.
