The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 66 various types of Russian drones out of 100 that were launched by the enemy on the evening of October 26. This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.
On the night of October 27 (from 18:30 on October 26), the enemy launched an attack with 100 strike drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, from directions: Kursk, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, with around 70 being Shaheds.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 09:00, air defense had shot down or suppressed 66 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and others across the north, south, and east of the country.
A total of 26 strikes by drones were recorded at 9 locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
