On October 20, Russian forces struck an enrichment plant operated by DTEK in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to DTEK's statement, no employees were harmed in the attack, although the facility sustained damage. Efforts are currently underway to address the aftermath of the shelling and assess the damage done.
"We are in the process of tackling the consequences of the attack. Our colleagues are safe," DTEK noted.
This marks the sixth major strike by Russian forces on DTEK's coal enterprises within the past two months.
