The air defense forces of Ukraine effectively neutralized 86 out of 113 enemy drones launched by Russian forces on the evening of October 14. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
The attack began at 10:50 PM on October 14, when the aggressor deployed 113 strike UAVs of various models, including Shahed and others, launched from the areas of Milleryovo, Bryansk, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately half of them were Shahed drones.
The airspace defense was provided by anti-aircraft missile troops, radio-electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukrainian forces.
As of 8:30 AM on October 15, the air defense managed to shoot down or suppress 86 UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country.
There were recorded hits of 26 strike UAVs at 11 locations, as well as debris falling at one site. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
