The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 88 out of 152 Russian drones. This information comes from the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 18:00 on October 6, the enemy launched an attack with two ballistic missiles "Iskander-M/KN-23" from the Rostov region and 152 strikes from UAVs including Shahed, "Gerbera", and other types of drones from the directions of: Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 80 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 09:00 on October 7, preliminary data indicates that air defense shot down/neutralized 88 UAVs in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Hits from two missiles and 52 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations, along with debris from downed targets falling at two sites. The attack continues, and several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
