The defense forces of Ukraine have successfully neutralized 73 drones that attacked the country in the evening, with hostile drone strikes recorded in 21 locations.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces via their Telegram channel.
Since 6 PM on Friday, October 3, the invaders launched a total of 109 drones, including Shahed and «Herbera» types. The launches were conducted from various Russian cities including Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo.
Additionally, the Russians used three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, which were launched from the Rostov and Voronezh regions.
The air attack was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and drone systems of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9 AM on Saturday, air defense in the north and east of the country had shot down or jammed 73 enemy drones of various types, including Shahed and «Herbera».
Strikes were recorded in 21 locations, with impacts from three missiles and 36 attacking drones. In four additional locations, debris from downed targets was reported.
The military emphasizes that the enemy attack continues. Several Russian UAVs have been detected in the airspace of the country. Citizens are urged to adhere to safety regulations.
