The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully neutralized 53 out of 86 Russian drones. The Air Force of Ukraine reported this via Telegram.
On the night of October 2, the enemy launched an attack with 86 Shahed, "Gerbera", and other types of drones from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo.
The air assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/neutralized 53 Shahed drones, Gerbera, and other drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Hits from 31 attack drones were recorded at six locations. The attack continues, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
