All power supply systems at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, which experienced outages due to a Russian attack in Slavutych, have been fully restored. Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk reported this news. She stated that the radiation levels in the area are within normal limits, posing no threat to the population.
"I extend my gratitude to our energy workers for their swift and effective response! Your efforts ensure safety for all of Ukraine and Europe," she emphasized.
Recall that on October 1, the Russian army struck a substation in Slavutych, resulting in the city losing power. According to Mayor Yuriy Fomichev, the strike hit substation "330", causing the power supply to be cut off. Rescue teams and energy workers began efforts to switch the grid to backup power sources.
Due to the attack, there were also power issues in parts of Chernihiv region. As reported by the head of Chernihiv OVA Vyacheslav Chaus, approximately 20,000 people were left without electricity at that time.
