Ukrainian Special Operations Forces successfully eliminated a radar station of the Russian S-400 «Triumph» anti-aircraft missile system in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. This was announced in the official Telegram channel of the Special Operations Forces.
"On the night of September 30, our units struck the radar station associated with the Russian S-400 «Triumph» missile system," the statement reads.
It is noted that this expensive air defense system, aimed at countering UAVs, was neutralized by the use of strike drones from the Special Operations Forces.
"The radar station acts as the «eyes» of the S-400 «Triumph» system. Without observation and targeting elements, the entire system loses its combat capability," the SSO emphasized.
