The Ukrainian armed forces successfully neutralized 46 out of 65 Russian drones. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.
On Monday, September 29, starting at 21:00, Russian forces launched 65 strike UAVs, including Shahed, 'Herbera', and others from directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Milleryovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied). More than 40 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, and drones, along with mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 09:00 on Tuesday, September 30, the air defense had shot down or suppressed 46 UAVs across the north, south, east, and center of the country.
There were hits recorded on 19 strike UAVs at six locations, with debris falling at two of them. The attack is ongoing – new groups of strike UAVs have entered from the north and east.
