The President of Ukraine held an important military meeting attended by key military and government officials, including Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of General Staff Andrii Hnatov, and Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal.

During the meeting, they discussed current reports on the front lines, key directions, and the situation in border areas.

“Special attention was given to the Dobripillya counteroffensive operation. As of this morning, since its commencement, we have liberated 168.8 km² of territory and cleared 187.7 km² of Russian sabotage groups. The total losses of the enemy in this operation have already reached nearly 3,000 personnel, most of which are irreversible losses. We continue to strengthen our units,” stated Volodymyr Zelensky.

Reports were also presented regarding the situation in Kupiansk and surrounding territories. They discussed the overall strategy in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

The Commander-in-Chief also reported on the downing of a Russian Su-34 in Zaporizhzhia.

“I thank our soldiers for their accuracy. This aircraft, along with others, was used by the Russians to carry out bomb attacks on Zaporizhzhia and other cities. We will continue to justifiably destroy Russian military aviation in response to attacks on our cities and people,” he emphasized.

Additionally, the President reported that the Commander-in-Chief discussed recent incidents involving drones at the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. Ukrainian military detected reconnaissance drones, likely Hungarian, entering our airspace.

“I instructed to verify all available data and report urgently on each recorded fact,” added Volodymyr Zelensky.
