Due to an emergency incident in the Kyiv region that caused damage to railway infrastructure, three women required medical assistance for stress-related responses.

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalagnyk, on Telegram.

«Following the emergency event, there was damage to the railway infrastructure in the Fastiv district. We are working together with Ukrzaliznytsia and relevant services to mitigate the consequences,» he wrote.

According to the official, the transfer of passengers from train No. 73 Kharkiv - Przemyśl to Kyiv was organized: part by bus and the rest later by train on a modified route.

Medical assistance was provided to three women due to acute stress reactions. An emergency medical team is accompanying the passengers on the train to the capital.

«During the recovery work, long-distance trains will be rerouted around the damaged section through Myronivka or Korosten. This will cause deviations from the schedule; however, railway workers are speeding up the trains and manually managing all necessary connections,» Kalagnyk noted.

He emphasized that work to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation is ongoing and should be completed soon.

As reported earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia changed several routes due to infrastructure damage in the Kyiv region caused by the emergency situation.
