On the Zaporizhzhia front, during a military operation, the pilot of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, Major Oleksandr Borovyk, has been killed.

The 39th Brigade announced this on Facebook.

«With deep sorrow, we announce that on September 11, 2025, around 1:30 PM, while conducting a combat mission on a Su-27, our comrade - pilot Major Oleksandr Mykolaiovych Borovyk, born on April 19, 1995, has lost his life,» - the statement reads.

The investigation into the circumstances and causes of the pilot's death is ongoing.
