More than 20 individuals lost their lives in an airstrike conducted by Russian forces in the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reported this via Telegram.

"This brutal strike on the village of Yarova is a stark reminder of Russia's savage aggression. These were ordinary civilians receiving their pensions. Preliminary reports indicate that over 20 people have died. Words cannot express our sorrow… I extend my condolences to the families of the deceased", the President emphasized.

He also stated that such actions by Russia must not go unanswered by the international community.

Russia continues to destroy lives while avoiding significant sanctions. The world cannot remain silent. A response from the United States, Europe, and other nations is crucial. Strong actions are needed to stop Russia's aggression", Zelensky stressed.
