Russian troops are making attempts to infiltrate Pokrovsk from the south and southwest, advancing in small groups through the villages of Zvirove and May First.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic group of troops "Dnipro", Oleksiy Belsky.

"The enemy is trying to infiltrate its servicemen into Pokrovsk, primarily in pairs, passing through the settlements of Zvirove and May First," he noted.

Belsky emphasized that all attempts of enemy infiltration into Pokrovsk will not go unanswered.

"I know what units and incredible defenders are waiting for them in Pokrovsk, and I can only sympathize with the occupiers who managed to seep into the city - only those who surrender will remain alive. Others will be quickly found and eliminated," he assured.

Moreover, he pointed out that Russian occupiers are significantly increasing pressure on the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration, hoping to capture it this autumn. Over the past day, the enemy launched assaults along the entire line of defense of the agglomeration - simultaneously on 15 fronts.

"The invaders are actively looking for weak points in the defense of the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration. However, they not only fail to break through, but the occupiers are also suffering from our unexpected, creative, and effective attacks," Belsky added.

At the same time, Belsky reported that in the last two days, Russian invaders have started shelling from the Pokrovsk direction towards Novopavlivka.

"This settlement is also an important target for the occupiers, which they have been unable to capture for many months," he emphasized.

He also reminded that over the past day, 195 combat engagements with the enemy were recorded, a third of which occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.

"On the Pokrovsk direction, a record number of attacks has been recorded since the beginning of the assault actions towards Pokrovsk (since December last year) - 64 attacks!" Belsky noted.
