In the night of September 4, Ukraine's air defense forces successfully destroyed or neutralized 84 Russian drones out of 112 launched.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.

"During the night of September 4 (starting from 19:30 on September 3), the enemy launched an attack with 112 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation UAVs from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardiyiske (TOT Crimea)," the report states.

The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

As of 09:00, the air defense had destroyed or neutralized 84 enemy Shahed-type drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

There were recorded hits of 28 strike drones at 17 locations, as well as the downing of drones at 5 sites.

In Odesa, as a result of the Russian drone attack, warehouse facilities were engulfed in flames.
