On August 30, around 4 PM, Russian forces shelled the building of the Kherson Regional Administration, igniting a fire that continued throughout the night. Firefighting efforts lasted until the morning.

The fire raged all night long, and it was only on the morning of August 31 that emergency services managed to extinguish the flames. Fortunately, there were no casualties from the strike or fire. The building was heavily damaged due to airstrikes.
