Night Assault of Drones: New Insights on Ukraine's Defense

Details on the recent drone assault on Ukraine and the defense outcomes.

On the night of August 31 (starting from 21:00 on August 30), the enemy launched an attack with 142 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitator UAVs from directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk – RF, and Chauda – temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, along with mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces. Preliminary data indicates that as of 09:00, air defense forces shot down or suppressed 126 enemy Shahed drones and imitators in the north, south, and east of the country. There were 16 strikes recorded on 10 locations, with debris falling in 6 areas.
