As a result of the Russian attack, more than a hundred thousand households have lost power in the Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Restoration efforts are ongoing in Sumy after drone strikes. Nearly a hundred UAVs targeted our regions overnight, specifically civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, energy facilities were damaged. As a result of the attack, households in Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Over a hundred thousand families are left in the dark. All services are engaged on-site, and we will restore power supply as quickly as possible. In Kharkiv, a drone struck a regular lyceum, and in Kherson, it hit a high-rise building. There are casualties, and everyone is receiving necessary assistance. The Dnipropetrovsk region was also under fire.

The Russians continue their war and ignore any calls from the world to stop the killings and destruction. New measures are needed to pressure Russia for an end to the strikes and to ensure real security. We are working with partners to achieve this pressure. Thank you to everyone who is helping!"
