The Air Defense Forces of Ukraine effectively neutralized 76 out of 104 enemy drones launched by Russian troops on the night of August 24.

Starting from 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, Russian forces launched an attack with 104 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation drones from directions including Kursk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 AM on Monday, August 25, the air defense had shot down or suppressed 76 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type and imitation drones in northern and eastern Ukraine. There were confirmed hits of 28 drones at 15 locations, with debris from downed targets landing in four areas.
