Since the evening of August 21, Ukraine has been under attack from Russian invaders utilizing 55 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation UAVs. A total of 46 drones were neutralized, but hits were recorded.

This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

The Air Force's statement reads: "As of 9:00 AM, air defense forces have shot down/neutralized 46 enemy Shahed-type drones and various imitation UAVs in the northern and eastern regions of the country. Nine strike drones have been confirmed to have hit 4 locations."

The invaders launched their drones from areas in Russian cities such as Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Hvardiyisk in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The aerial assault was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
