Drone Strike on Okhtyrka: 14 Injured Including Children

A Russian drone attack on Okhtyrka resulted in 14 injuries, including three children.

Fourteen individuals, including three children, were injured during a nighttime drone strike on the city of Okhtyrka in the Sumy region on August 20.

This was reported by the National Police and the Sumy Prosecutor's Office via Telegram.

Authorities stated: "At night, the enemy carried out a massive strike with drones on the city of Okhtyrka… As a result of the attack, 12 people were injured, including two children. A multi-story building, 13 private homes, an outbuilding, and a garage were damaged".

Investigative teams and bomb disposal experts from the police were working at the impact sites.

"Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 438 (war crimes) for all incidents", – noted the law enforcement agencies.

Later, the Sumy Prosecutor's Office added that the Russians attacked the private sector in Okhtyrka from 00:05 to 00:18, using 15 drones.

"Fourteen people sought medical assistance, including a family with three children – a 5-month-old, a 4-year-old, and a 6-year-old boy. At least 13 houses were damaged or destroyed", – reported the prosecutor's office.
