The city of Pokrovsk has been cleared of enemy groups and individual invaders.

This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

«The 7th Airborne Corps has showcased the current state of Pokrovsk. Thanks to the efforts of the 7th Airborne Corps and related units, the city is now free from hostile forces. Ukrainian soldiers are ensuring security, and local residents can move around freely», - the statement reads.

It is noted that movement within the city is significantly restricted; however, entry into Pokrovsk is still possible.

The Ukrainian defense forces have managed to improve the situation in the Pokrovsk direction. No advance by Russian troops has been permitted.
