More than 1,000 individuals have been evacuated from the Korabel district in Kherson, yet there are instances of families returning.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on his Facebook page.

«As of 12:00, 1009 individuals have been evacuated from Korabel, including 56 children and 110 persons with reduced mobility. The evacuation process is ongoing,» Prokudin stated.

He also noted that there are cases where evacuees return back to Korabel shortly after leaving. Prokudin urged residents to understand that the danger persists, and their actions may threaten their lives.

He reiterated his call for residents of the district to evacuate. For this purpose, they should contact the regional call center at the numbers: 0800 101 102 and 0800 330 951.

As of the evening of Wednesday, August 6, 925 individuals had been evacuated from Korabel, including 56 children and 106 persons with limited mobility.
