The Ukrainian armed forces have successfully targeted a significant oil refinery in Russia, as confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the General Staff.

Quote: "Confirmation of the strike on the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region has been received. Its annual processing capacity is 6.25 million tons, accounting for 2.1% of Russia's total oil refining capacity".

It is noted that a drone strike caused a fire at the facility. The flames engulfed the gas and gas condensate processing unit.

The operation was carried out by units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the drone forces of the Armed Forces.

Additionally, the General Staff indicated that several other key targets within Russia had been attacked, with results currently being verified.

Quote: "Strikes on the enemy's military infrastructure will continue until the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is fully halted. The defense forces are systematically applying all legal means to stop the criminal actions of the Kremlin regime aimed at destroying the Ukrainian people".
