As a result of a strike on the Zaporizhzhia region early on August 6, two people lost their lives, and twelve others, including children, were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, via Telegram.
He stated: "The Russians struck our region, resulting in two fatalities and ten injuries, including four children".
At least nine buildings were damaged, with emergency services currently on site.
Later, Fedorov added that the number of injured had risen to twelve.
"Five of them have been taken to the hospital in serious and moderate condition", he noted.
Update: Around 9 AM, the State Emergency Service clarified that the occupiers attacked a recreation center.
"On August 6, between 05:55 and 06:10, the enemy dropped bombs on the territory of a recreation center in one of the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region", the State Emergency Service reported.
Rescuers transported the injured to emergency medical teams, and others were evacuated.
Currently, emergency services are extinguishing fires in outbuildings, vehicles, and five fire outbreaks in open areas.
Nine single-story cottages for recreation were damaged.
