Russian forces continue their drone assaults on the civilian population in Kherson, resulting in one death and nine injuries reported this morning.
This information was shared by the Kherson regional military administration, local authorities, and the regional prosecutor's office via Telegram.
According to the prosecutor's office: "On July 8, around 5:00 AM, Russian military personnel dropped explosives from a drone onto a civilian vehicle. The explosion resulted in the death of a 66-year-old driver who was inside."
A criminal investigation has been initiated regarding this incident.
Additionally, around 4:20 AM, two men aged 32 and 34 were affected by the strikes. They suffered explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds. One victim was hospitalized in serious condition, while the other is receiving outpatient care.
At approximately 5:10 AM, invaders dropped explosives on a woman born in 1960, who sustained severe injuries: an explosive injury and wounds to her abdomen and legs. Doctors are currently fighting for her life.
Later, at around 8:30 AM, it was reported that Russians attacked a car in downtown Kherson from a drone, injuring a 51-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man. They were hospitalized with mine-explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds.
The police also took a 64-year-old man from Kherson to the hospital after he was attacked by drones around 9:00 AM in the Dnipro district. He suffered from a mine-explosive injury and shrapnel wounds.
Another resident of Kherson was attacked by a drone around 9:30 AM. A 69-year-old woman suffered an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to her leg.
At approximately 9:50 AM, Russians struck again with a drone in central Kherson, injuring two women aged 54 and 50, and a 75-year-old man who were near a store at the time of the attack. All of them sustained explosive injuries.
