On the morning of July 7, explosions were heard in Kharkiv. Preliminary reports indicate 6 hits in residential areas, with 11 injured, one in serious condition; a person may be trapped under the rubble.

This was reported by the city's mayor, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the OVA, Oleg Synegubov, on Telegram, as well as the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

The mayor stated: "According to preliminary information, as a result of the last six strikes on Kharkiv, there are casualties. There is information about a seriously injured woman. A house is burning in the private sector of the Kholodnohirskyi district."

Details: the new attack by the "Shaheds" was reported around 10:20 AM.

Later, Terekhov clarified that there were "hits in the residential areas of the city."

"As a result of the latest shelling, destruction of residential houses, farm buildings, and transport infrastructure has been recorded; cars are burning. Currently, there is information about three injured individuals, one of whom is in serious condition," the mayor wrote.

Updated: Terekhov later noted that confirmed information about a direct hit from an enemy drone into a two-story residential building has been received. A fire is currently raging there.

Head of the OVA Oleg Synegubov added that as of 11 AM, there are 11 injured due to the recent attack.

"Preliminarily, a person is believed to be under the rubble of one of the buildings. A rescue operation is ongoing. All emergency services are on site," the regional head wrote.

Later, the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added that there was a hit on the building of the Kharkiv Regional TCC and SP and the adjacent area. Preliminary data indicates there are 3 injured there. Emergency services are working on site.

At 11:30, Terekhov reported that 6 "Shaheds" struck "literally within 10 minutes... targeting residential streets, cars, and people."

As a result of the "Shahed" strike, a house caught fire.

Additionally, according to the mayor, the roof of another building caught fire due to the attack, houses were damaged, windows shattered, facades affected, cars burned, and one person was injured.

Moreover, the invaders hit the road near residential buildings – cars are burning there, trolleybus lines, poles, and traffic lights are damaged.

In another location, the mayor reported that a strike occurred very close to a two-story building – over 10 cars were crushed there.
