Kyiv Under Attack: Response Efforts Ongoing

Response operations continue in Kyiv following a night attack. Several districts have been affected by the shelling.

In the capital of Ukraine, efforts to address the aftermath of the nighttime shelling are ongoing.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this via Facebook, sharing relevant images.

In the early hours of July 4, the enemy launched another massive attack on the city. Rescuers are working in multiple districts to mitigate the damage.

In the Solomianskyi district, a five-story building was partially destroyed due to the attack, and a fire broke out on the roof of a seven-story building.

Additionally, fires occurred in a warehouse, on the premises of a car service, and in a garage cooperative. Significant damage was reported to various civilian infrastructures.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a fire broke out on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 14-story residential building due to a direct hit, and in the yard of a neighboring high-rise. Several vehicles were also ablaze. Firefighting efforts are ongoing at multiple non-residential buildings.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, an uninhabited eight-story residential building was hit by a drone, causing structural damage on the first floor.

In the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts, falling debris from drones has been reported.

Approximately 100 units of equipment and over 450 personnel have been deployed to respond to the shelling in Kyiv, as noted by the State Emergency Service.

As of 08:44, the number of injured due to the attack has risen to 23, reported Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“Currently, according to medical professionals, there are 23 reported injured from the enemy's attack on the capital. 14 of them have been hospitalized. Others received assistance on-site or ambulatory care,” - the mayor stated.
