In the Sumy region, a horrific attack occurred during the night of May 29, resulting in one fatality and another person sustaining severe injuries. The attack damaged farmland, civilian infrastructure, and residential buildings.

OVO Statement: "Last night, Russian forces once again targeted civilian facilities in several communities in the Sumy region. In the Bilopillia community, a peaceful resident was killed as a result of the strike, while another individual is in critical condition in the hospital. Significant damage to residential buildings has been reported." 

Details: In the Verkhnosyrivka community, the invaders damaged civilian infrastructure, while in the Richkiv community, a private house was destroyed.

Furthermore, the occupiers struck the territory of a farming enterprise in the Nedryhailiv community, where warehouses containing agricultural equipment caught fire.
