Kiev Under Attack: Latest Updates

Updated information on the nighttime attack on Kiev and Cherkasy, no casualties but significant damage.

In the night of May 26, Russian drones targeted Kiev, the region, and Cherkasy, resulting in damage to buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure. In the capital, debris fell on the grounds of a garage cooperative and a recreational facility, but fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Tkachenko stated: "Kiev has been under Russian fire for the third night in a row. This night, the alarm lasted for 6 hours. The enemy used strike drones".

Details: He noted that the attack caused damage in the Dnipro district, with windows broken in a residential building. There were also reports of debris falling on the territory of a garage cooperative and a recreational facility.

Fortunately, according to Tkachenko, there were no injuries.

In the Kyiv region, critical infrastructure remained unharmed, and there were no civilian casualties.

In the Boryspil district, three private houses and utility buildings were damaged, while in the Fastiv district, one private house suffered damage. A car was damaged in the Bucha district.

In Cherkasy region, 25 Russian drones were neutralized. Reports indicate no injuries, and there have been no claims of damage from debris to the authorities as inspections continue.

Taburets also clarified the consequences following enemy attacks the day before. Specifically, in Uman, windows of a vocational school, a boiler house, and a residential building were damaged by the shock wave.
