The recent drone attacks by Russian forces have led to significant fires and destruction in the Poltava and Kyiv regions. Various residential homes, forests, and vehicles were affected, causing damage to several private farms.

Details: In the Lubny district of Poltava, debris from an enemy drone caused a fire at a private residence, igniting both a home and a car.

Firefighters managed to contain the flames quickly. Additionally, several buildings in nearby farms were damaged by the attackers.

In the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region, debris from shot-down drones started a fire in an unfinished private house and in a forest area. The fires have been extinguished.

In the Fastiv district, two private homes were damaged as a result of the attack.

Emergency services continue their efforts to assess and mitigate the impacts of the enemy attack.

Reminder: 

• On the night of May 15, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine with 110 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation drones, out of which 91 drones did not reach their targets.
