Since the beginning of May 8, the Russian army has continued its offensive actions along the entire front line, with 117 combat encounters recorded.

Details: It is reported that the Russians shelled border villages in the Sumy region.

The highest number of combat engagements occurred in the Pokrovsk direction – 41. In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 17 times.

In the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks, while another confrontation is currently ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted 3 assaults, in the Siversk direction – 2, in the Kramatorsk direction – 2, in the Toretsk direction – 5, in the Novopavlivka direction – 19, in the Orikhiv direction – 3, and in the Dnipro direction – 2.

In the Kursk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks by the Russians, according to the General Staff.
