A missile strike has targeted Sumy, damaging civilian infrastructure.

Source: statement from Oleg Grygorov, head of the Sumy Regional Administration, and local publication Kordon.Media.

Details: The attackers targeted the suburbs of Sumy around 5:30 PM. "Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy struck civilian infrastructure with a ballistic missile. The consequences of the attack are being clarified", - Grygorov stated.

Kordon.Media reported that a child was killed at the missile impact site, and there are injuries.

Later, the Sumy City Council confirmed the child’s death. 

"Currently, 7 people are reported injured: 1 adult woman and 6 children, including one child who has died", - the city council reported.
