On Wednesday, American corporation Google launched a new AI model named Gemini 3 Flash, which is faster and more cost-effective. Axios reports on this development.
Gemini 3 Flash encompasses the capabilities of Gemini 3 Pro.
Google stated that their new AI model is "faster, more efficient, and cheaper" to operate.
The company claims that Gemini 3 Flash excels in tasks such as last-minute trip planning or quickly mastering complex educational concepts.
The multimodal thinking capabilities in the new model allow users to ask Gemini to watch videos, browse images, listen to audio, or read text and "transform these responses into content".
"We're about providing everyone with the benefits and foundation of Gemini 3," said Tulsi Doshi, product lead for Gemini, in an Axios interview.
According to her, the release of this model aims to give more people access to the "most powerful AI tools available".
Gemini 3 Flash will become the default model in the Gemini app, replacing Gemini 2.5 Flash for everyday tasks.
It will also be the default model for AI mode in search, meaning daily Google users worldwide will have access to it.
Google previously released its Gemini 3 Pro model on November 18.
The American company OpenAI also unveiled its latest AI model, GPT-5.2.
