The Ukrainian government has decided to expand the "Army of Drones.Bonus" program, allowing military units to earn electronic points (e-Points) for completing logistical tasks using unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
"The program has become a game-changer in our fight against the enemy. The enemy's losses have significantly increased, and our units can now directly order necessary means to carry out combat missions," said Mykhailo Fedorov.
Previously, e-Points were awarded for using drones, artillery, and mine-laying. Now, logistical operations, including cargo transportation and casualty evacuation, performed by UGVs have been added to the list.
The new initiative aims to enhance operational effectiveness and promote the development of ground robotics across all defense units.
For instance, the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura" showcased the operation of the UGV "Rys PRO" and explained how this vehicle helped save an injured soldier.
