A new scientific and innovation cluster has been launched in the capital of Ukraine based on the Kyiv Research Institute for Socio-Economic Development of the City ("NDiROM"). An agreement for collaboration was signed by representatives from 25 higher educational institutions of various ownership forms.

The cluster includes leading educational institutions in the capital, such as the Ukrainian State University named after Mykhailo Dragomanov, the Kyiv School of Economics, and the State Trade and Economic University.

The main goal of this initiative is to combine efforts to address key issues in scientific, technical, and educational development in Kyiv. "NDiROM" will serve as a platform uniting scholars, educators, students, and business circles to enhance Kyiv's innovative potential," said the director of "NDiROM", Serhiy Pavlovskyi.

During the meeting, the updated Strategy for Kyiv's Development until 2027 was presented, focusing on enhancing residents' safety, protecting vital systems, and promoting gender equality.

Additionally, the project "Become a Student for a Day" was introduced, allowing prospective students to experience university life through testing days and tours.

This initiative will help high school graduates make informed career choices. Serhiy Pavlovskyi emphasized that higher education institutions are encouraged to participate in this project to improve career guidance.

Moreover, the call for competitive startups has been announced as part of the contest "Using Artificial Intelligence for Management Activities". The finals will take place at the "PRO:KYIV" conference in December.
