On April 21, the European Weightlifting Championship concluded in Chisinau, Moldova.

The Ukrainian team, consisting of 17 athletes, earned a total of 13 medals (1 gold, 5 silver, and 7 bronze).

Olha Ivzhenko became the champion in the snatch (up to 55 kg) and also secured a bronze in the total.

Silver medals were awarded to: Svitlana Moskvyina (snatch, up to 64 kg), Dmytro Kondratiuk (clean and jerk, up to 81 kg), Iryna Dombrovska (snatch, up to 76 kg), Khrystyna Borodina (clean and jerk, over 87 kg), and Bohdan Hoza (snatch, up to 109 kg).

Bronze medals went to: Svitlana Moskvyina (total, up to 64 kg), Anastasia Manievska (total, up to 87 kg), Bohdan Hoza (total, up to 109 kg), Valentina Kisil (snatch + total, over 87 kg), and Vladyslav Prylipko (snatch, up to 109 kg).
