Both teams are contending for the championship, making this game pivotal at the quarterfinal stage.

The teams started the match energetically, but there were many mistakes. The first shot on target came in the 12th minute – Kaluzhny's attempt was caught by Riznyk. Three minutes later, Pedrinho responded, but his shot lacked precision.

Before halftime, both teams had half-chances, but there were no particularly dangerous moments on the field.

The second half followed a similar pattern. The only change was that the "orange-blacks" had more initiative. The final whistle confirmed a draw – 0:0.

At the start of extra time, Traore had a chance to score but failed to beat Georgiy Yermakov.

The Marino Pushich's team capitalized on one of their moments. In the 109th minute, Georgiy Sudakov, instead of delivering a free-kick, found Kevin on the flank, who skillfully evaded Shostak and shot into the far corner. This goal became decisive in the match.
