Starting today and continuing through the week, Kyiv will host sports competitions for veterans of Ukraine.
This was announced by the organizers.
“Kyiv is launching national multi-sport competitions running from November 30 to December 7,” the statement reads.
At the opening, Mia Ramari and the band “Antytila” will perform. On other days, the stage will feature the band “Zhadan i Sobaky”, HLIBOROB, “Kryhitka”, “Hyphen Dash”, and other Ukrainian artists.
Participants will compete in nine types of adaptive sports, including team and individual events: wheelchair basketball, rugby, sitting volleyball, archery, rowing, laser run, powerlifting, cycling, and swimming.
The event is organized by the Initiative Center “Come Back Alive” in collaboration with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. Admission is free. The competitions will take place at the International Exhibition Center on Brovarsky Avenue, 15.
