Ukrainian Taekwondo Team Triumphs at International Tournament

The Ukrainian team secured 30 medals at the IV Open Balkan Cap in Novi Sad, including 7 gold.

The Ukrainian national taekwondo team achieved remarkable results at the IV Open Balkan Cap, winning a total of 30 medals, which includes 7 gold, 9 silver, and 14 bronze, as reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The competition in Novi Sad, Serbia, saw participation from 1,596 athletes from 18 countries. The team represented Ukraine with 45 athletes, 6 judges, and 7 coaches.

Champions: Ivan Vovk (special technique), Anna Kucherenko (sparring), Nazar Homenyuk (sparring), Timur Nechiporuk (sparring), Kira Bezuha (sparring), Danilo Orishich (forms), Nazariy Ismihanov (sparring).
Silver medalists: Anna Kucherenko (special technique), Ivan Vovk (sparring), Polina Vikhtyuk (sparring), Bohdan Benedys (sparring), Katalea Korsikova (forms), Halyna Karpova (sparring), Artem Rozhilo (forms), Yaroslav Saguychenko (sparring), junior men's sparring team.

Taekwondo is a scientifically grounded method of self-defense that enhances individual physical and spiritual capabilities through intensive training.
Recently, the Ukrainian team also won 6 medals at an international acrobatic gymnastics tournament held in Lancut, Poland.
