Ukrainian wrestler Alla Belinska has made history by winning a gold medal at the World Championship in Zagreb-2025! This marks her first victory on the global stage and the first gold for Ukrainian wrestlers at this tournament.
In the 72 kg category, Alla showcased her strength by defeating Veronika Vilk from Croatia (4:0), Poline Denis Lecarpentier from France (4:2), and Nurzat Nurtayeva from Kyrgyzstan (11:6). In the final match, she confidently bested Nersin Bash from Turkey (6:0).
This year, Alla also became the European champion.
